Martien Oster – guitar
Guitarist Martien Oster has an impressive track record and has been at the top of the Dutch jazz scene for years. Martien has worked and recorded CDs with the likes of Monty Alexander, Diana Krall and Dr. Lonnie Smith. In 2016, he toured with fusion pioneer Larry Coryell whom Martien describes as an “intelligent and soulful guitarist.” He did his most current CD production with Harold Mabern titled “Handshake.”
Uli Glaßmann – double bass
Bassist Uli Glaßmann studied at the Musikhochschule Heidelberg-Mannheim from 1993 to 1996. In 1996 he moved to The Hague and began studying jazz double bass at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague from which he graduated in 2001. Uli has profiled himself as a bassist in high demand. Uli has played and toured with the likes of;Adam Nussbaum, Tony Lakatos, Michael Brecker, John Rocco, Kenny Wheeler, Rachel Gould and Marius Preda.
Jean-Clair de Ruwe – drums
Drummer Jean-Clair de Ruwe completed his studies at the Utrecht Conservatory of Music cum laude in 2004. In 2016, he received a scholarship from the Mignon Music Fund on which he spent 3 months in New York and was able to study with Rodney Green and Kenny Washington. Jean-Clair has shared the stage with the likes of Roy Hargrove, Charles McPherson, Howard Alden, Bert Joris, Ferdinand Povel, Denise Jannah, Bert van den Brink and the Millennium Jazz Orchestra.
